My favorite snack - Hoddeok

This is one of the most popular Korean street snack , Hoddeok.
I'm not so sure if I spell it right or not.
Anyways, it is normally seen in winter on the street and looks like little pancake.
but it's very hot and sweet!
look at the picture! looks really yummy !
To make hoddeok, firstly you need to make flour batter with yeast.
and leave it for hours in warm place.
and then make the sauce! sauce is not actually liquid but when you fry it ,
it becomes liquid because of the heat
sauce is basically made of sugar and added cinnamon powder or nuts if you prefer.
when batter becomes swollen , it's perfect time to make hoddeok!
Take some batter and add mixture of sugar in the batter and fry it on a pan with oil.
simple!
while i'm posting this recipe , this homework really makes me hungry LoL

My favorite snack is Kim-ma-ri. (Sally)

Hello everyone. I had a movie nighht and just got back to dorm.

I hope I am not late for the homework due!

Anyway, my favorite snack I am going to tell you is Kim-Ma-Ri.

This is fried food with some kind of noodles in it. Ingredients could be various

depending on person's flavor. In other words, you can put some chopped peppers(I like it)

or carrots so that you could taste it better. The taste is kind of like crunchy.

However, it takes a little too much oil to fry it, so some of you might not like it.

Also, do you guys remember Duk-Bok-Ki which we've seen in the textbook?

Kim-Ma-Ri goes perfectly well with Duk-Bok-Ki, so you might want to take a note for that tip! :-)

I also thank you guys for giving me info about the snack I didn't know.

There is something new I can try later on! Woh~ I'm excited! :-)

Good night, see you guys tomorrow morning!

My favorite snack is Açaí na tigela ("açaí in the bowl")

Açaí is a native fruit from Central and south America. In Brazil we don't use to eat this fruit “in natura”, we freeze the fruit and after put in a blender and mix up until become a cream. We usually mix up this fruit with some fruits, especially bananas and after put some granola on top. I know the aspect of the cream is not beautiful but I guarantee the taste is really good! If you go to Brazil you have to have açaí in the bowl!

A Popular Snack in Hong Kong

Hi everybody, I am Lisa. I am going to tell you about a popular snack in Hong Kong- the Hong Kong Style Curry Fishballs.

There are many tuckshops selling fishballs in Hong Kong. They are really delicious. The fishballs are deep-fried and put in a curry sauce. It is hot and spicy. The fishballs are put on a bamboo skewer. And so, you can enjoy the snack when you walk home.

'Pig Skin' is also sold in this kind of tuckshop. The texture of 'pig skin' is different from fishballs but the same sauce is used to cook them. The taste of 'pig skin' is good too! If you ever travel to Hong Kong, you should try this snack.
